How do I send you scans?
-Create a connection between our lab and your officer scanner for automatic file transfers using iTero, TRIOS, 3Shape Communicate, CS Connect, and many others.
-If we cannot directly connect your scanner, STL files will need to be exported from your scanner and sent to our office using a file-sharing program.
What is an STL file?
-An STL file is a standard format used for 3D data. All intraoral scanners generate an STL file.
How long do you keep my files?
-We keep scans for 90 days; However, many cloud-based scanners will keep scans indefinitely.
Can I scan patients with braces?
-Yes. Please remove the arch wire in order to capture your scan more accurately.
What is the turnaround time?
-Typical turnaround time is 10 business days. Rush cases can be accommodated. Please always include the patient's next appointment date on the lab slip to ensure we deliver prior to that date.
